Our Mission 

Silsden Methodist Church aims to be a living witness to our Lord within our community, our Circuit and beyond.

To embrace our Mission, we seek to fulfil these aims:

WORSHIP  
will be accessible to all, open to exploring a range of worship styles, ensuring that worship is inclusive

LEARNING & CARING
Learning begins with worship, from which we aim to develop further opportunities for people to grow in faith and understanding. In order to do this caring is foremost, through living our faith within the community.

SERVICE
we will serve the community of Silsden wherever we can, whilst not losing sight of the needs of the wider world.

EVANGELISM
we will equip our church family to share their faith in everyday life as well as in worship situations.

OUR PRIORITIES
Over the next 5 years we will:
Provide more opportunities for worship, prayer and fellowship for all age groups

Increase the church’s visible presence within our community

Make the church more family-orientated

Ensure that provision for young people is both appropriate and appealing
