Sunday closures in June
As you may be aware, we have been informed that Kirkgate will be having carriageway resurfacing on three consecutive Sundays in June.
It was requested by Silsden Leadership Team that we consider this matter when doing the plan, as there could be issues of access and issues of noise.
Therefore, in consultation with others we have made the first three Sundays in June joint services with three of our partner churches: Eastburn on June 4th, Steeton on June 11th and Cross Hills on June 18th.
will be taking all of these services and plan to have a linking theme through them all - a rare opportunity to do this.  Rather than make all of June’s services joint services, I have omitted Silsden for the 4th Sunday Craven service, and will also be taking that back at Silsden.
The Praise Service on June 4th at 6.00pm is unaffected as the work will have finished by then.  Clearly we don’t know exactly which parts of Kirkgate will be affected on which Sundays, and so it was necessary to take this decision early.  Beyond these three Sundays there is only one Craven service not happening at Silsden - on July 23rd at Cross Hills. Every other Sunday we will be worshipping at Silsden as usual.

There are a number of circuit services coming up: May 21st, July 23rd,
August 20th and September 3rd, all of them important events for which your support is invited, (Admission of a new local preacher, farewell to Rev Terry Keen, the closing of Cowling, and the welcome of Rev Tracy Birks). But all of them are afternoon and evening services in addition to our regular morning services.

All welcome
